Special Recognition:  Spanish Club, Letterman Club, and Student Assistance Team 4 years; 4-year member of band, serving as president 2012-2013; canned food drive volunteer.

Community Service:  Delivers Thanksgiving meals to shut ins, makes nursing home visitations, and works with local food distribution center for the needy; active as a church Youth Group Leader and piano accompanist; participated in church mission trips to Missouri in 2011 and to Hungary in 2013.

Scholastic Accomplishments:  Ranked 6th in class; National Honor Society, President; Academic Honors Club; Knowledge Masters Open Academic Team; 2012 IFCA Academic All-State; Core 40 with AP/Academic Honors Program; 3.79 GPA.

Athletic Recogniton:  Football - 3-year starting quarterback with a record of 37-5; earned numerous honors all three seasons; 2012 honors include team Co-Captain and Offensive Player of the Year; Southwest 7 Football Conference Offensive Player of the Year and First Team Quarterback; Bloomington Herald Times Offensive Player of the Year, All-Area Team, First Team Quarterback; AP and Indiana Football Coaches Association First Team All-State Class 1A; Class 1A Griddy Football Player of the Year; set every school passing record, including career attempts (1,068), year attempts (361), career completions (685), year completions (251), and game completions (3); other records include 9,253 career passing yards, which ranks him 6th all-time in Indiana, 111 career TD passes, 43 year TD passes, and 5 game TD passes; Basketball -4-year letterman; Co-Captain; numerous honors, including joining the 1,000 point club, holding school record for blocked shots, and named to First Team All-Southwest Indiana Athletic Conference 2010 and 2011; won the Trester Award at 2013 State Basketball Finals; Track - 4-year letterman; named to 2011 First Team SIAC.

Austin will study math/pre-business and play basketball at the University of South Alabama. 


Class 2A Winner:  GUNNAR NORRED

Special Recognition:  Serves as a Student Council representative; active in school organization; served as Canned Food Drive Coordinator.

Community Service:  Volunteers with Backpack Blessings; serves as a Youth Basketball Program coach.

Scholastic Accomplishments:  Ranked 13th in class; National Honor Society, Treasurer; named to AAA Insurance All-Academic Team; Academic All-State; Core 40 with AP/Academic Honors Program; 3.93 GPA.

Athletic Recognition:  Football - 3-year varsity letterman as a tight end, defensive end, and outside linebacker; team Captain; selected to All-Hoosier Conference Team; Honorable Mention AP All-State selection; Baseball - 4-year varsity letterman.

Gunnar will study biochemistry and play football at DePauw University.

Scholastic Accomplishments:  Ranked 7th in class; National Honor Society; Academic All-Conference; received a Merit Scholarship to attend University of Dayton; Core 40 Academic AP/Honors Program; 4.067 GPA.

Athletic Recogition:  Football - 3-year varsity letterman as a wide receiver, defensive back and kicker; has school kicking records in PATs/career, PATs/season, PATs/game, touchbacks/career, touchbacks/season, touchbacks/game, and field goals/career; many honors in 2010 and 2011; during 2012 - named to Pre-Season All-State and All-Hamilton County Teams; Region 5 North-South All-Star and All-Indy North Teams; AP All-State Team; All-Conference, All-Hamilton County 1st Team, and HHHS Special Teams Player of the Year; instrumental in helping team win conference titles in 2009, 2010, and 2012, Sectional titles in 2010 and 2012, a Regional title in 2012, and school's first Semi-state title and State runner-up title in 2012; Baseball - 4-year varsity letterman as outfielder and pitcher; selected All-County and All-Conference Honorable Mention 2012, and All-North Team Honorable Mention 2011.

Ethan signed a letter of intent to play Division I football at University of Dayton, Dayton, OH, where he will study engineering.

Scholastic Accomplishments:  Ranked 15th in class; National Honor Society, President; 8-time Magna Cum Laude Honor Roll; 7-time Academic All-City; Indiana Football Coaches Association and Indiana High School Wrestling Coaches Association Academic All-State; Evansville Area Optimist Club Top 10 Senior; Wendy's High School Heisman Award; Gary West Memorial Scholarship; Allan Horn-James Barnett Memorial Award; Edward E. Meyer Award; Chase Campbell Hagen Memorial Award; Core 40 Academic AP/Honors Program; 3.93 GPA.

Athletic Recognition:  Football - 3-year varsity starter at inside/outside linebacker; honors include team Captain, IFCA 4A First Team All-State, 2-time AP 4A All-State Honorable Mention, 2-time All-Southern Indiana Athletic Conference, All-Metro, Downtown Quarterback Club All-City, team Defensive Player of the Year and 2-time Defensive Back of the Year; also, Wayne Weller Football Award, Kiwanis International Athletic Award, Herman Byers Outstanding Senior Male Athlete, and a Leadership Award Winner of the National Underclassmen Football Combine; Wrestling - 3-year varsity starter; 2-time All-SIAC; SIAC Conference Champion, Sectional Champion, and a Semi-State qualifier.

Mason will study economics and pre-law and play football at Carleton College.


Class 5A Winner:  JACOB TEBBE

Special Recognition:  Active with Service Leadership; serves on the Principal's Advisory Committee; a Hoosier Boys State Delegate and a Wyld Life Youth Leader; active in school organizations including serving as a 4-year Powder Puff head coach and mentoring with Helping Hands and Pass It On; does scoreboards and announcing at high school athletic events.

Community Service:  Volunteers with Rock School, Oak Trace, Young Life, and through his church; works part-time at a local pizza restaurant.

Scholastic Accomplishments:  Ranked 6th in class; National Honor Society; received the Flo Benson Scholarship Award sponsored by Westfield Lion's Club; Vice-President of Academics for WHS Executive Committee; Core 40 Academic AP/Honors Program; 3.99 GPA.

Athletic Recognition:  Involved with football throughout high school career, playing wide receiver senior year; serves on Westfield Football Leadership Council and as an Athletic Ambassador; active in Student Impact Basketball and Volleyball as a team captain.

Jacob will study pharmacy at Purdue University.
