College Honors:  Was a 2-sport letterman; as a quarterback, 2nd Team All-Conference football 1961; baseball All-Conference 1961, 1962. 

Coaching Experience:  Head football coach for 19 years, with 13 years at Terre Haute South and 6 years at West Vigo; overall record of 107-73-3; also an assistant coach 3 years.

Coaching Honors:  Team was undefeated in 1973; Southern Indiana Conference Champs 3 years and City Champions 10 years; Region 6 Coach of the Year; assistant coach for South in North-South All-Star game 1978.

Outstanding Players Coached:  Malcom Cameron, IU quarterback; Mark Jackson, Denver Broncos; Lee McCormick, Murray State, KY.

Special Recognition:  Played on Babe Ruth World Series Champions team 1955; served as a high school and college wrestling referee.

Family:  Wife, Elizabeth (Libby); children, Rebecca, Robert, and John; granddaughter, Natalie.
