High School Honors:  4 sport athlete; 1st team All-State lineman; 1st team Football All-Area and All-Conference; 1st team Westling All-Area; team captain footballl, wrestling, track; recipient of many school, scholastic, and civic awards.

College Attended:  Augustana College, IL     Graduated:  1972

                           Purdue University            Graduated:  1976

College Honors:  4-year football starter; All-Conference and Small College All-American.

Coaching Experience:  Munster, IN, HS football coach 34 years, with 7 as assistant coach and 27 as head coach; record of 168-111; also, coached wrestling 10 years.

Coaching Honors:  Football - 5 Sectional Championships; 1 Regional Championship; 8 Conference Championships; Coach of the Year more than 10 times; North All-Star coach 4 times, winning game in 2004; had 24 players selected for North-South All-Star games and had 44 players selected 1st team All-State; Coach of the Week by Indianapolis Colts 2003; wrestling - won several sectional and regional championships; 10th at State tournament 1980.

Special Recognition:  Served as Indiana Football Coaches Association Region 1 Director twice and Region 1 advisor 15 years; IFCA Board of Directors member 28 years; member of IFCA/UPI rating board 27 years; worked with Marsh family, players, and community for "Mustang Toy Roundup" to raise funds for needy children at Christmas; active in Ryan Marsh Foundation in honor of his deceased son to raise funds for special needs children to attend Camp Riley.
