Coaching Experience:  Assistant track coach, assistant basketball coach, head cross country coach, Memorial HS, St. Marys, OH 1969-1971; at Heritage HS, Monroeville, IN - assistant track coach 1972-1974; head track coach 1975-1997, 2006-2007; assistant football coach, 1972-1977; head football coach 1978-2006; 179-118 record over football career; 90-23 1997-2006; 18 winning seasons; 7 Conference Championships; 28 consecutive conference wins 2002-2006; 4 undefeated regular seasons 1998, 2003, 2004, 2006; 2 football Sectional Championships.

Coaching Honors:  Conference Coach of the Year - Track 1990, 1993, 2006; Conference Coach of the Year - Football 1998, 2001, 2003, 2004, 2005; North All-Star Coach 1999 and 2005; had the privilege of coaching 88 football All-Conference players (Allen County Athletic Conference), 46 All-State players, and 4 North All-Star players.

Outstanding Players Coached:  Brandon Robinson (1995-1998) - Southern Illinois U., set state career rushing record with 7,303 yards; Doug Wasylk (2001-2004) - U. of St. Francis; Jason Minnich (1994-1997) - Taylor U.; Joe Janes (1992-1995) - Franklin College.

Special Recognition:  Retired from teaching from East Allen County Schools in 2007.
