College Honors: All-Big Ten; UPI All-American 3rd Team; Academic All-Big Ten and Academic All-American; led IU and Big Ten in pass receptions; starter in East-West Shrine Bowl, Senior Bowl, and Chicago Tribune College All-Star game; won the prestigious Balfour Award for bringing honor and distinguish to IU sports; first IU Academic All-American in football.
Special Recognition: Team physician for IU Rose Bowl team 1967; Chairman, Committee on Sports Medicine, Indiana State Medical Association; team physician for USA Olympic Basketball 1984; team physician for Bloomington South HS; head team physician for IU men's basketball; selected to IU Athletics Hall of Fame; recipient of Zora G. Clevenger Award; 50 years service to IU.
