Professional Athletic Background:  Played for Boston Yanks 1945-1946; Chicago Cardinal 1947-1951 (World Champions 1947); Chicago Bears 1952-1953.

Coaching Experience:  Coached at Hamtramck, MI, HS 1954-1956; Michigan State Champions 1955, 1956; backfield- receiver coach and Director of Player Personnel for Pittsburgh Steelers 1957-1959; Dallas Cowboys offensive coordinator 1960-1961; Wake Forest College offensive coordinator 1962-1963; GM and head coach of Canton Bulldogs of Continental Football League, winning league championships 1964 and 1965; receiver coach and Director of Player Personnel for Chicago Bears 1966-1972; offensive coordinator for WFL Southern California Suns 1974-1975, which led the league in total offense both years. 

Family:  Wife deceased; step-daughter, Terri.
