High School Honors: All-State and All-City 1945; played guard for Coach Dan Howard and was undefeated in 1945; mythical State Champions 1945.

College Attended: Evansville College             Graduated: 1951

College Honors: Varsity football guard 1946-1950; Ohio Valley Conference Champions 1948.

Coaching Experience: Freshman coach for Evansville North HS for 5 years, with a record of 33-1; head coach at Evansville Harrison HS 1962-1977, with a record of 85-59-8.

Coaching Honors: All-City Champions 1966; All-City and Conference Champions 1974 and 1975; head coach of winning South All-Stars 1975.

Outstanding Players Coached: Scott Studwell, University of Illinois and Minnesota Vikings; Kevin Speer, Bill Brusse, Mike Winslow, and Tony Suggs, Indiana University; Greg Fenner and Terry Wedgewood, Purdue University; Stan Trice and Jeff Gardner, Murray State; and several others.

Special Recognition: Co-chairman of Evansville Football Clinic 10 years; past-president Evansville Coaches Association; one of founders of Evansville Junior League Football Program; inducted into University of Evansville Hall of Fame in 1981.
