College Attended:  University of Illinois       Graduated:  1976

College Honors:  Lettered in 1973-1976; 2nd Team All-Big Ten 1975; AP and UPI 1st Team All-Big Ten 1976; 3rd Team All-American 1976.

Professional Athletic Background:  9th round draft pick of Minnesota Vikings 1977; played for Vikings 1977-1990.

Professional Athletic Honors:  All-time tackle leader 1981; named All-Pro 1988, 1989; named to All-Time Silver Anniversary Team (1961-1985); Viking top 10 tackles assisted at 673 career, with seasons of 97 in 1985, 83 in 1983, 74 in 1981, and 72 in 1984; top 10 solo tackles at 1,981, with seasons of 230 in 1981, 216 in 1983, 215 in 1984, and 206 in 1985.

 Special Recognition:  Named to U of IL All-Century Team in 1990; at time of induction was serving as Coordinator of Player Personnel for the Minnesota Vikings.
