College Honors: Threw 25 yard touchdown pass to Richard Todd against Notre Dame in the Famous 1973 Sugar Bowl with a score of ND 24, Alabama 23; scored the only touchdown of the game in 1975 Sugar Bowl against Penn State with a score of Alabama 7, Penn State 6; received the Johnny Musso Award for most improved offensive back on the team; had the honor of playing for Coach Paul "Bear" Bryant; during career at UA, team record was 43-5, with 4 Southeastern Conference Championships and 4 bowl trips.
