Coaching Experience:  Assistant football coach at Evansville Rex Mundi HS 1962-1967; assistant head coach and defensive coordinator for 30 years at Jasper HS; also served as head coach of Jasper wrestling team.

Coaching Honors:  Won 2 city championships as head freshman coach at Rex Mundi; at Jasper, had 29 winning seasons out of 30, 16 Conference Championships, 8 Sectional and Regional Championships, 2 Semi-State Championships, and State finalists 4 times; had 8 undefeated seasons, 100 shut-out games, and held 195 opponents to 1 TD or less; assistant coach for South All-Stars in 1993; 2 years as assistant coach for Area Southern Indiana All-Stars.

Outstanding Players Coached:  Bob Griese, Rex Mundi, Purdue, and Miami Dolphins; Matt Mauck, Jasper, LSU, and Denver Broncos.

Special Recognition:  Retired from teaching at Jasper High School in 1999; continued as a volunteer football coach at Jasper 10 years; inducted into Indiana Wrestling Hall of Fame 1990; received Educator of Distinction Award and the Jasper Chamber of Commerce President's Excellence Award 2010; member of Board of Directors of Indiana Landmarks.

Family:  Wife, Judy; children, Jay, Jacob, and Jan; 14 grandchildren.
