Date of Birth:  October 8, 1948 in Indianapolis

High School Attended:  Lawrence Central      Graduated:  1966
 
High School Honors:  Leading rusher in 1965; team was first winning team on new field.
 
College Attended:  Indiana State University  Graduated:  1970

Coaching Experience:  Started first football program at Lewisville, IN, 1970-1972; assistant coach at Lawrence Central with J.R. Bishop 1972-1975, with a winning record of 35-5; head coach at Lawrence North 1976-1994.

Coaching Honors:  Marion County Coach of the Year in 1989, with a team record of 11-1; CSAC Coach of the Year 4 times; won 4 Sectional titles 1983, 1988-1990; was only team to beat Warren Central with Jeff George (National Player of the Year 2 times) in 1983 and George's only high school loss; overall record of 136-61.

Outstanding Players Coached:  Damon Watts who played running back at LNHS in 1988, 1989 and who played 5 years at cornerback for Indianapolis Colts (1995-1999); Steve Lee who played fullback at LNHS and was drafted by Baltimore Ravens out of IU, then traded to Tampa Bay.

Special Recognition:  Retired from Lawrence North High School in 2010 after a 40 year teaching career.

Family:  Wife, Deb; children, Alicia, Courtney, Dan, Gabe, and Aaron.
