College Honors:  Starting running back freshman and sophomore years; New York's Sports Writers "Player of the Week" twice 1945; injured in 1st game as a junior; WW II interrupted college career; attended US Merchant Marine Academy 1945.

Professional Athletic Background:  Starting running back with the Baltimore Colts 1948 and 1949; injured 1950 season.

Coaching Experience:  Football coach at Marion High School 1950-1951, with record of 5-3-1 in 1950 and 6-2-1 in 1951.

Special Recognition:  Worked in sales with Bell Fibre Products Corporation after football career ended; at time of induction, worked as a manufacturer's rep.

Family:  Wife, Carolyn; children, Eric, Debra, Laura, and Linda.

Mr. Pfohl passed away May 11, 1996.
