High School Honors: 3-year football letterman; All-Conference running back 1954 and 1955; football team MVP 1955; captained football, basketball, and track teams.

College Attended: St. Joseph's College          Graduated: 1960

College Honors: Leading rusher in Indiana Collegiate Conference as a senior; selected as team's MVP; won Little All-American honors; All-Catholic All-American.

Coaching Experience: Coached 4 years at North Judson, 4 years at Lowell, and 19 years at Portage, with a total head coaching record of 156-110-3.

Coaching Honors: 1977 team won Class 3A State Championship; won 3 Conference Championships, 4 Sectionals, and one Regional Championship; staff coach for North-South All-Star Game 1975 and 1981; among top 20 in all-time career coaching victories in Indiana.

Outstanding Players Coached: Mike Wishnevski University of Indianapolis and Seattle Mariners; Eric Jones, Notre Dame.

Special Recognition: Charter member of St. Joseph's College Football Hall of Fame.
