College Honors:  Beta Gamma Sigma (Honorary Business School Scholastic); Kappa Delta Rho (Social); elected to Blue Key (Honorary Men’s Organization); won football Balfour Award senior year; earned three football letters; Honorary Football Captain senior year; selected as Most Valuable Indiana University football player for Chicago Tribune Award 1933; played in 1933 East-West World’s Fair game; among final 8 in 1932 Olympic wrestling try-outs; played in College All-Star Game (forerunner of the All-Star ProChamp Series).

Professional Athletic Background:  Mostly semi-pro football in Chicago and Calumet areas; member of 1933 Cincinnati Reds (club went broke early in season).

Special Recognition:  Member of Kiwanis; held United Way official position; supervisor and executive in steel industry (Inland); officiated high school football and basketball for 10 years.

Mr. Keckich passed away May 14, 2004.
