College Honors: Played as a back and kicker; team won 1919 and 1920 Big Ten Championships; played in Rose Bowl Game on January 1, 1921.

Professional Athletic Background: While coaching high school football, also was a player/coach of the Evansville Crimson Giants of the NFL, with an 8-2 record; a knee injury ended his professional career.

Coaching Experience: Head football coach at Evansville Central High School for 4 years with a record of 26-8-2; also served as Central's basketball coach.

Coaching Honors: Central team considered mythical state champions 1921.

Special Recognition: Left coaching and served as an athletic business manager for 5 years; made his mark as a football official in Indiana; served as a grader of Big Ten officials for several years; was a charter member of Evansville's Downtown Quarterback Club.

Mr. Henderson passed away January 14, 1991.
