College Honors:  Lettered in basketball 2 years, baseball and football 4 years; awarded “E” Blanket for Outstanding Senior Athlete; Varsity Club and Double “E” Club.

Professional Athletic Background:  Offered a tryout with Detroit Lions; played 2 years of service football in San Diego.

Coaching Experience:  Line Coach under Al Crawford; won 59, lost 19; head coach 1964-1969, winning 26 and losing 25.

Outstanding Players Coached:  Dave Milam, Northwestern University; Larry Kern, New Mexico State; Rick Johnson, Minot, North Dakota; and Kick Goodwin, Ball State University.

Special Recognition:  Helped start and develop Little League Football and Baseball in Lebanon; coached Little League Baseball State Champion of Indiana; officiated IHSAA basketball for 20 years.

Family:  Wife, Annabelle; sons, Gary Joe, Tom, and Andy.
