High School Honors:  10 varsity letters; All-State in football; State Track Finalist; football team was 10-0 during his senior season.

College Attended:  Murray State University, KY                           Graduated:   1967

Coaching Experience:  28 years as head football coach, with 22 years at East Central High School and a record of 172-73-1; an all-time record of 215-81-3; had 11 consecutive winning seasons; ranked 10th among active coaches; 15th among All-Time Winning Coaches; 18th All-Time Winning percentage of 72.6%; also coached varsity baseball and assistant football at Lawrenceburg three years and coached one year at Seabreeze High School near Daytona Beach, FL.

Coaching Honors:  8 E.I.A.C. Championships; Sectional Champs 9 times; 5 Semi-State appearances; State Finalist 1993, 1994; State Champions 1994; Indiana South All-Star Coach 4 times; Indiana Coach of the Year 1994.

Outstanding Players Coached:  Josh Martini, 1994 Indiana Mr. Football; Andrew Wolf, 1998 Mr. Football Finalist; Kyle Frondouf 1983 and Don Hoog 1986 All-Americans; 28 players selected All-State; 18 players selected to Indiana South All-Star teams; 22 players signed Division 1 scholarships.

Special Recognition:  Served in US Marine Corps 1968-1969 where he served as an assistant coach at the Quantico base.

Family:  Wife, Kay; children Jim, Kim, and Rand; grandchildren, Andrew, Tyler, Kyle, Keaton, and Cole.
