High School Honors:  Played football 3 years as a center; member of 1920 mythical State Championship Team.

College Attended:  University of Notre DameGraduated:  1925

College Honors:  Played for legendary coach, Knute Rockne; on same team as legendary "Four Horsemen" 4 years.

Coaching Experience:  In 1933, became head football coach at Mishawaka HS; record of 80-35-8 during coaching career; also, coached basketball and tennis at Mishawaka; retired from coaching in 1946.

Coaching Honors:  1935 team named State Champions.

Special Recognition:  Was employed in the legal department of Ball Band (Uniroyal) and assisted coach Frank Steele with football team at Mishawaka High School in the evenings; after receiving teaching credentials at Purdue, took over as head coach at Mishawaka.

Family:  Wife, Irene; daughter, Susan.

Coach Arndt passed away March 1, 1966.
