High School Honors:  All-Conference; honorary team captain;  Kiwanis Award winner.

College Attended:  Louisiana State 1954-1956

                           Indiana University MA                       1964

College Honors:  Co-captain; All-Conference.

Coaching Experience:  Head football coach at Mitchell HS 1960-1963, with a record of 153-76; assistant football coach at Morehead State University 1964-1967; head coach at Bloomsburg State College 1968-1970; head football coach at South Spencer 1971-1989.

Coaching Honors:  Had 7 conference championships and 3 undefeated regular seasons; while at South Spencer, won one Sectional, Regional, Semi-State and State runner-up title; coached in the Sorghum Bowl 1975.

Outstanding Players Coached:  Terry Cole, IU, Baltimore Colts, Miami Dolphins, and Pittsburgh Steelers; Rick Denstorff, Western Kentucky University; Jay Seib, IU; Randy Weber, Kentucky Wesleyan; Norman Lauer, Evansville College.

Special Recognition:  Member of Indiana Football Coaches Association; Past-President Lakewood Country Club and American Football Association; inducted into University of Evansville Athletic Hall of Fame 1984.

Family:  Wife, Joan; sons, Russ and Rick; one granddaughter.
